中学受験しないことは決めたけれど、３年後の高校受験を見据えた塾に通い始めている人もちらほら‥。

どうしたらいいのだろう‥。やっぱり塾に通わせるべき！？

と迷いに迷っているママやパパも多いはず。


子どもが嫌がる塾に無理やり通わせたはいいけれど、親子関係がギスギスしたら、もったいない！

こんにちは！小6 & 年長男子ママのはーちゃんです。

夏に科学の実験三昧だった長男ですが、アトモンカードやドクターストーンの影響か、興味はより具体的になり鉱物や化学の世界へと進化しています笑

またマイクラでも鉄を溶かしてどうこうしたりと(母はノータッチなので詳しいことはよくわかりませんが、英語表記も覚えたり？)、ヴァーチャルにサバイバルを行うことで意外と物質のなりたちなど化学への興味のもととなっています。

YouTubeや漫画で仕入れた知識を本で深めることも



夏休みに訪れたとある場所はたまたま地層がでていて岩石の宝庫。

ルーペ片手に結晶を発見したり母子で楽しく持ち帰る石を選びました。

偶然ではありましたが、岩石などの実物を図鑑と見比べることができて学びが深まるいい機会に。

そんな息子なので元素記号や鉱物岩石の名称などはお手の物。

興味の対象への集中力や記憶力を他で発揮できないのかと言いたくなるときもありますが、そこはグッとこらえて笑


ガミガミ母さんが宿題やったの？と聞くことが減った結果、

自由に泳いでいる息子のやる気はむしろアップして、他の勉強に対しても意欲的に取り組む

という現象が少しずつ起きています！


小６になると中学受験しない子たちも高校受験を見据えた塾に結構な数通い始めます。

近所には高校受験で実績も高く、データも多い塾があり、かおりメソッドを受講する前だったら迷わずそこへ行かせていたはず。

でも大切なのはその子に合っている塾かということとその子のタイミング。
