読書好きになってほしい、本からいろいろな事を学んで欲しい！それなのにウチの子暇さえあればテレビ、iPadでYouTube、Switchでゲームばっかり〜！そんな風に悩んでいるお母さん、たくさんいらっしゃると思います。

我が家も例に漏れずかおりメソッドを知るまでは、そんな状況にジリジリ…

どうにか「本好き」にさせようと読み聞かせの後に内容を理解しているか質問攻めにしたり・・・（もはやテスト汗）

危うく本嫌いにするところでした。

それが、今では起きてきた途端にソファで本を読む子供に！！！親の私もビックリです！

「本好き」にさせたい”コツ”

長男が1年生の頃、基礎講座の国語編でかおり先生が

「子供を読書好きにしたければ、子供がよくいる場所に本を転がしておくだけでオッケー！」と…。

「そんなバカな？」

と思いつつ実行してみたところ…子供達がバンバンばら撒いた本に食いつく！

●低学年の頃は絵本、サバイバルシリーズ、図鑑など本人の興味がありそうなもの。

●時々漫画で覚えることわざなど親が読んで欲しい勉強系も混ぜつつ本を置いておく。

当時、幼稚園児だった次男のためにも寝室の一角を絵本&本コーナーにして、ゴロゴロしながら本が読めるようにする、など居心地にも工夫をしたところ、子供が勝手にその場所に吸い込まれて本を読むようになりました。

アメリカ駐在が決まった時も本だけはたくさん持っていこうと、「マンガ日本の歴史」「マンガ世界の歴史」「マンガでよむ伝記」

ヨシタケシンスケ先生の絵本セットなどを船便に入れました。（我が家では学習マンガは本という扱いです！）

そして歴史マンガなどは親も本気で楽しんでます。

「本好き」へ変化した現在の子どもの様子

伝記を読みまくっていた我が家の兄弟。ある日「パジャマに着変える時間だよ〜！」というと、「今夜はシャネルの5番よ〜💖」という珍回答！！！

どうやら最近読んだ「ココシャネル」の伝記からマリリン・モンローの名ゼリフの引用です。

おふざけ回答だとしてもこれも読書好きゆえの立派な学び！

吹き出しつつも「すご〜い！よく知ってるね〜！」とかおりメソッドで培った女優力で思いっきり誉めて承認しました。

子供達が毎週学校の図書館から借りてくる本は日本で慣れ親しんでいた「ギネスブック」だったり、「マインクラフト」だったり。

これも親が読んでほしい本や難しい本ではなく、「子供が楽しめる興味のある本」を優先させる、そこからも学びはたくさんある！というかおりメソッドを実践させてきた結果だと思っています。
